In Pictures: ISRO's World Record Launch From Integration To Liftoff

A towering achievement.
ISRO

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) created a world record yesterday by launching 104 satellites into orbit. The launch took place at 9:28 am in the morning at the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota. The PSLV C37 mission to launch the satellites was accomplished in just under 29 minutes.

The mission was on schedule as it first released three Indian satellites and then the nanosats from the US, Israel, Kazakhstan, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and the UAE. Here are photos of PSLV C37, from the integration stage to liftoff.
