Harshvardhan Kapoor Apologises To Diljit Dosanjh After Dissing His Filmfare Best Debut Win

HArshvardhan Kapoor, who went on a rant against the Filmfare Awards for giving the Best Debutant trophy to Diljit Dosanjh, has apologized for his comments.

The actor's argument was based on the fact that Diljit is already an established star in Punjab, which made overqualified for the award.

Filmfare didn't take this too well and the magazine's Executive Editor, Anuradha Chowdhry, even hit back at him, calling him, 'self-entitled.'

Now, Kapoor has tweeted an apology but it's directed at Diljit and not the magazine.

In an interview to PTI on Wednesday, Diljit had said that he had heard about Kapoor's comments but wasn't 'hurt' about it.

Diljit made his Bollywood debut with Abhishek Chaubey's Udta Punjab, for which he won the Filmfare Best Debut award. Kapoor, on the other hand, was seen in Mirzya, a Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra film, which was both, a critical and a commercial failure.
