Rahul Dravid Just Turned Down An Honorary Doctorate From Bangalore University In The Most Dravid Way Possible

You cannot NOT love this man. And he has a way of doing things. Always.

When the Bangalore University wanted to confer an honorary doctorate on the former Indian captain Rahul Dravid, he probably had the most unique response.

He informed the university that he wants to "earn a doctorate degree" rather than receiving an honorary one.

In a release by the University, the Vice Chancellor said, "While thanking the university for recognizing him, (Dravid) has in all humility declined to accept the honorary degree."

This is not the first time Dravid has not accepted the honorary degree. The cricketer did not show up at Gulbarga University's 32nd convocation in 2014 even though he was among 12 personalities shortlisted for an honorary doctorate.
