Nokia marked its official comeback into the world of mobile phones with the launch of the Nokia 6 smartphone this year. However, the phone, manufactured by HMD Global, is available just in China. Meanwhile, many await a Nokia phone that will be available globally.

The recent most leak suggests that Nokia is indeed working on a flagship smartphone that will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC processor. As reported by NokiaPowerUser, the company's Weibo account hinted on a public reveal of the device that is under works.

"Understood your mood, because the new high-end Snapdragon SoC has just released, please give us some time to prepare, when the time will be made public," the official account said in a chat.

The device, which is being touted as Nokia 8, could possibly be launched at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in late February, along with other rumored devices such as a 5.3 inch Nokia P1 with a Snapdragon 821 chip inside.

Nokia has already announced that it is going to hold an event at MWC on 26 February where it is likely to announce plans to make a bunch of new devices.

Another leak by NokiaPowerUser suggests that the company might be working on a huge 18.4-inch tablet, or perhaps even a computer, with a Snapdragon 835 processor with 4 GB RAM capacity.
