After Harshvardhan Kapoor gave an interview to The Indian Expressexpressing his disappointment over losing the Filmfare Best Debut award, a senior editor of the magazine has slammed the actor for acting 'self-entitled.'
The award went to Diljit Dosanjh for Udta Punjab but Kapoor was upset because it Diljit isn't exactly a debutant and has acted in several Punjabi films. "If Leonardo Di Caprio wins an Oscar and then comes to do a Bollywood movie, is he a debutant? I don't agree," he had said.
Surprisingly, Filmfare didn't take too well to this.
Anuraddha Choudhary, the magazine's Executive Editor, tweeted saying:
The sense of self entitlement some of these newcomer actors have is beyond imagination. If only they were half as talented.

You know what's ridiculous? #HarshvardhanKapoor thinking that he deserved Filmfare more than #DiljitDosanjh. Better your acting buddy!
Not one to take it lying down, Kapoor retorted with a series of tweets, hinting at a full-blown war.
He also said that he would have been happy to lose to Jim Sarbh (Neerja). "Jim Sarbh was amazing in #neerja and is a newcomer would've been happy to lose to him."
