After Bengaluru, David Guetta's Mumbai Concert Cancelled

"Mandatory requirements and legal formalities were not completed."

A day after DJ and music producer David Guetta's concert was cancelled in Bengaluru, his Mumbai concert, that was scheduled for Friday, has also been cancelled, reports ANI.

According to the report, the concert has been cancelled because "mandatory requirements and legal formalities" were not completed.

Guetta's Bengaluru concert, that was supposed to be held on Thursday, was cancelled in view of the prevailing law and order situation in the Karnataka capital following the New Year's Eve molestation incident, said the organisers.

Disagreeing with the reason of law and order, senior police officer, Amit Singh, reportedly said, "A big event happened here, in the same district. I don't have enough force to handle 20,000 people. Keeping the elections in mind we have not given permission. If you organise such a big event, all logistical arrangements should be looked into and authorities should be spoken with as well."
