Nawazuddin Hit The Nail On The Head When Asked About The Difference Between Working With SRK And Salman

His interview with the AIB boys is a gem.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui is having a busy month.

His next film, the long-delayed Haraamkhor, releases this Friday. Two weeks later, he will be seen once again in Rahul Dholakia's Raees, a big-ticket crime saga, produced by Farhan Akhtar.

While Raees has all the means at its disposal to make some marketing noise, Haraamkhor is an indie -- with its entire budget being less than a crore, something that the Raees guys probably spent on the special song featuring Sunny Leone.

To promote Haraamkhor, Nawaz did a podcast with All India Bakchod. The comedy collective broke its rule of 'no movie promotions' to champion the cause of, well, indie cinema.

The result is a hilarious session with Nawaz opening up with remarkable ease as if he's just hanging out with his bunch. Having interviewed the actor a number of times, this writer knows that Nawaz is generally a little awkward and doesn't open up unless he's feeling comfortable in your company.

The AIB boys -- Tanmay Bhatt and Gursimran Khamba -- ensured that Nawaz felt right at home and got him to talk about something like the time he smoked up before giving a shot for Anurag Kashyap's Gangs of Wasseypur.

However, when Tanmay asked him what's the big difference between working with Salman Khan (Kick, Bajrangi Bhaijaan) and Shah Rukh Khan (who he's worked with for Raees), Nawaz said, "Shah Rukh Khan will give as many retakes as required until the director gets the perfect shot. He has worked in theater so he knows the process. After working with him, I felt I have worked with an actor."

And Salman Khan? "With Bhai, the director has to make do with just one take, nothing beyond that. Bhai ka yeh hai ki ek scene ho gayaekbaar ho gayadobaranahinkarengebhai" (Salman won't ever do another take. Once it's done, it's done.)

Although Salman's films go on to make crores at the box-office, the actor is notorious for having a laidback attitude on sets and isn't exactly known for his professionalism.
