Shraddha Kapoor (Finally) Breaks Her Silence On Alleged Affair With Farhan Akhtar

What a mess.

Shraddha Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar's alleged affair is once again making news.

And this time, the relationship, which reportedly began on the sets of Rock On 2! has become the subject of some seriously unsavoury news items.

On December 28, a report on Spotboye.com claimed that Shraddha walked out of her house and moved in with Farhan, something that didn't go down too well with her father Shakti Kapoor.

Spotboye.com, quoting sources, said that on learning about this, Shakti Kapoor went to Akhtar's Bandra pad and 'dragged' Shraddha out as his 'eyes went red with rage.'

Predictably, both Shraddha and Shakti were amused at the report and have issued denials.

In an interview with Bombay Times, Kapoor said, "I got a message from someone telling me about this article, and initially, I was amused. While it doesn't make a difference to me because I know it's not true, it's sad that these false stories go so far that people forget we are human, too. Of course, we are actors and there will be people who would probably want to read something gossipy about us, but when it involves my father, my aunt and my costar, it's taking it too far."

She said that actors are believed to be having affairs all the time but family members shouldn't be dragged in.

"I was even linked with Aditya for a while! Like I say, actors are linked all the time. But when family members are dragged into it, it's taking it to another extreme. Yes, I am living in... with my parents! I was born and brought up in this house. It's a joke within the family that I will bring my husband home. It's because I'm so happy living with my family. I have a house of my own where I have my meetings and keep my extra stuff. I have no intention of moving out of my parents' home and moving into my own apartment, let alone someone else's!"

About her relationship with Farhan, father Shakti Kapoor told Mid-Day that he doesn't believe that Shraddha and Farhan are dating while in another interview with Bollywood Life, he called the entire episode of him dragging Shraddha out "Total crap!"

He said, "It's all shit. Somebody else also called me to inform me about this, but don't believe it. It's total, total, TOTAL crap."
