As Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi launched a scathing tirade against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP and the AAP hit back at the Congress leader asking why he was not revealing the information he had about the prime minister.
The BJP dismissed the allegations by Rahul Gandhi and said they were baseless.
The Times of India quoted Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Anant Kumar as saying, "If Rahul Gandhi had information, he could have revealed it 20 days ago, but till today he wasn't ready to make any earth-shattering revelations."
Meanwhile PTI quoted Kumar as saying, "The allegation was made out of desperation and he (Gandhi) should apologise to the nation."
Rahul had said earlier in the day, "Read my lips... the PM is personally terrified of the info I have, we have. It is personal corruption of the PM that we have detailed information on."
Minister of State For Home Affairs, Kiren Rijiju called Rahul's comments a 'self goal' for the Congress:

On the other hand, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal alleged that the Congress and the BJP indulge in such "friendly match" but do not make any disclosure.
If Rahul Gandhi actually has papers on Modi ji's personal involvement in corruption, then why doesn't he expose it outside Parl? https://t.co/5xc2WkCd5B— Arvind Kejriwal (@ArvindKejriwal) December 14, 2016

AAP leader Ashish Khetan tweeted:
If Rahul Gandhi is not allowed to speak inside the house, than he should speak outside and disclose the information he has about Modi ji. https://t.co/WqpbfIVG5S— Ashish Khetan (@AashishKhetan) December 14, 2016
Kejriwal's prodding assumes importance as he has been targeting the Prime Minister over certain allegations pertaining to the latter's tenure as Gujarat Chief Minister.
