Microsoft is known to have made some crazy bots. Remember Tay, the Twitter bot which went haywire and began making racist and sexist comments? The company is now out with a new bot, called Murphy, which morphs and fuses pictures of two individuals to create a new hybrid image.
The bot, which works on various messenger platforms, answers "What if" questions pictorially. As in, all you have to do is ask, "What if Osama Bin Laden didn't have hair?" or "What if Charlie Chaplin had really long beard?" Murphy will have an image for you.
"Murphy is an experiment running on Azure that is powered by the intelligence of Microsoft Cognitive Services, including the knowledge of Bing," Microsoft said in a blogpost. "You can chat with Murphy using Skype and ask it hypothetical 'what if ...' questions like 'what if I were superman?' Murphy will try to respond with an image that visualizes an answer to your question."
The idea behind Murphy originated from last year's 'How old you will look' project which allowed people to upload their photos and let a bot guess their age.
