Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is going all out to prove that demonetisation is "the biggest scam" in India. In fact, at a protest rally, he even asked people to "change" the Prime Minister instead of defunct notes, saying that those supporting the exercise were against the country.

Kejriwal is not ready to bend and not willing to entertain the idea that any good can come out of demonetisation.

So, now he has thrown a challenge. In an interview to the Economic Times, Kejriwal said if someone can prove demonitisation has unearthed black money, he will clap and chant Modi's name.

"If government can prove 50,000 crore or so of black money has come, I will clap for Modi and stand on the street and shout Modi... Modi...Modi," he said.

Kejriwal said that farmers, labourers and common man waiting in queues are suffering heart attacks, but none of the Swiss Bank account holders are being affected because of Modi's 'surgical strike' against black money.

"The implementation is all botched up. All of India and world is admitting it," Kejriwal said.

Talking about the rollback of demonetisation that he and the West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee have been demanding for a while, Kejriwal said, "You roll it back for now and bring the plan again after two months with proper planning."

The Delhi Chief Minister also alleged that the move was a "conspiracy" to write off bad loans of businessmen. He said that it was not serving its stated purpose of tackling corruption.

"Already there are cases of bribes being taken in new 2,000 notes and new fake currency notes. So, it is clear the step will neither check black money nor counterfeit currency," he added.
