Ending the months-long wait for fans and music lovers, Coldplay finally hit the stage at the Global Citizen Festival in Mumbai with their frontman Chris Martin.
Other stars and major acts such as Demi Lovato, Jay Z, and The Vamps also flew down and performed for the annual charity music festival.
Joining in the fun and making their presence felt were our very own Amitabh Bachchan, along with luminaries like Shah Rukh Khan, Sachin Tendulkar, A.R. Rahman, Farhan Akhtar, Ranveer Singh, and Alia Bhatt.

Martin ended the Global Citizen Festival India concert on a high note with his band by singing 'Vande Mataram' with the music maestro AR Rahman and waving the Indian tricolour.

After witnessing a fantastic musical evening and obsessing over the charismatic Martin, Indian fans started following him on Twitter. Cool, right? The only little problem here, however, was the account that people ended up following. It didn't belong to Coldplay's lead singer.
Meet Chris Martin, the comedian.
Oh and the British comic shows up first when you search for "Chris Martin" on Twitter.
His bio now reads:
"NOT IN COLDPLAY. Currently HUGE in India. Above average height for a British man. Podcast http://www.carlandchrispodcast.com . Instagram chrismcomedy Okay Bye."
After seeing a considerable increase in his followers' count, Martin the comedian tweeted this:
"To the 500 Indian followers I gained in the last day I'm not in Coldplay. I'm sure Chris was great in Mumbai but I can't pass on the message"

He also changed his Twitter display picture.
He crossed the 1k mark...
.@ChrisMcomedy Now got a 1000 more followers, but compared to Indian population that's only 0.00000000000000000000000000000000000.1 % of you

...and used the opportunity to milk the situation.
Someone tweeted to him about the uncanny resemblance between him and the frontman.
And answered important questions on the platform.
He also tweeted to the little master.
And kept his timeline busy...
