Days after the Centre's demonetisation move, thousands of people are still lining up outside banks and ATMs to access cash or exchange money. On Tuesday morning, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's mother Heeraben Modi was one of the hundreds who queued up for exchanging her old notes, only with the media swarming around her.

The 96-year-old was seen walking some of the distance and then being put on a wheelchair. ANI reported that she exchanged notes worth Rs 4,500. She was accompanied by relatives.
