BENGALURU -- British Prime Minister Theresa May made heads turn on Tuesday when she visited the century-old Sri Someshwara Temple in Bengaluru in a saree on the final day of her three-day visit to India.

Taking time off her hectic engagements in the city, May accompanied by two priests went around the temple at Halasuru, donning a gold and green saree.

She also offered prayer to the deity Lord Shiva.

Earlier, May arrived at the Kempegowda International Airport and was received by Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. She held an interaction with business delegates.

Thereafter, she visited a government primary school, a high-tech manufacturing unit that produces parts for global aircraft maker Airbus and also met SME business delegation.
