This has been a remarkable 16 months for Donald Trump.
He entered the Republican primary as an outsider, seeking to shake up the system. And now, with just days to go, he has an outside chance of becoming president.
But it’s not just 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. that is the prize. Along the way, Trump has bagged a couple of major accomplishments as well. In a speech in Jacksonville, Florida, on Thursday, he addressed those. One was the “great honor” of earning the support of admirals and top generals. The other was a distinction of similar magnitude.
“I’m also honored to have the greatest temperament that anybody has,” Trump said.
He did not thank the academy.
