Delhi's Choking In The Smog, But Thankfully, It's Bright And Funny On Twitter

In 'Gridlock', the third episode of the third series of the very popular science fiction show Doctor Who, the Doctor and his companion Martha go to New New York, that is far, far away in the future. The duo find themselves in the planet where everyone is dead and the remaining are stuck in a deadly traffic jam in the underground Motorway. There are only cars for miles and miles and every car is exhausting poisonous fumes. No one can breathe safely outside the cars.

Now that may be fiction, but if you are in Delhi, that scene sounds eerily real.

However, thankfully, there's a silver lining to this cloud... err... smog too. The jokes. Yes, Delhi maybe turning into a smoke chamber, but we are at least keeping it bright and sunny on Twitter.

As they say, rotey huwe aatein hain sab, hasta huwa jo jayegaa... Here's what social media thinks of the impending doom, that is the Delhi air quality now.
