FYI, There's Now A Punjabi Song On Surgical Strike

"Kashmir mangda mangda Lahore bhi kho baithega tu."
T-Time Music/ YouTube

Ever since India's military raid on terror launch pads across the Line of Control, 'surgical strikes' are all anyone can talk about right now on social media. A surgical strike is a high precision attack on a military target that causes minimal to no collateral damage.

Amidst a clamour for evidence of the attack among certain political sections, a Punjabi song, imaginatively named 'Surgical Strike', has surfaced on YouTube. It shows a bunch of men dressed in army uniform celebrating the attacks.

The lyrics are, ummm, not exactly meant to promote peace between the two nations.

Loosely translated:

"Stop asking for Kashmir, or you might lose Lahore...

POK might slip out of your hands too...

Just like the year 1971, we will hand you a bitter defeat

If you try to enter Kashmir, we will have you buried

We will have your legs broken, we will have you buried

If you enter Kashmir, we will have you buried...!"

In case you need the details of the makers.

And a bit of dancing.

And others join too...
