Let's face it: the most adventurous of Indian palates crave a portion of traditional Indian food at least once a day. And the more boring among us, want that Indian flavour in some of the popular non-Indian dishes too.
That's exactly how the greasy, spicy 'Indian-Chinese' food came about. Like did the kukkar pizza and oh-so-fancy even blue cheese naans (thank you, Indian Accent).
No wonder then, Indians have gone on to experiment with even more baffling hybrids - like gulab jamun cheesecake, golgappa shots, pasta biryani etc.
Here are some really odd-sounding Indian-inspired fusions we uncovered that might make you drool in a second (the rasmalai cake did) or scrunch up your nose in disgust. Either way, they'll definitely pique your interest.
