David Gilmour fans got a pleasant surprise at the Royal Albert Hall on Wednesday (28 September) night, when the musician invited Benedict Cumberbatch up on stage.
The āSherlockā actor joined the musician for a rendition of Pink Floydās āComfortably Numbā - which you can see in the video above - impressing concert-goers with his vocal ability.
Davidās wife Polly Sampson shared a series of pictures of the duo performing on Instagram:
This isnāt the first time David has invited a special guest on stage to help with the song and back in 2006, David Bowie lent the star a hand, on the very same stage.
Benedict has been pretty busy of late, and recently wrapped filming on āSherlockā series four.
His first Marvel movie, āDr Strangeā, in which he plays the title character, will also be released later this year.
On top of all that, he also squeezed in time to chat to his good friend Tom Hiddleston for an Interview magazine feature, which obviously (sort of) touched on the whole Hiddleswift saga.
