You'll Never Look At 'Mehendi Laga Ke Rakhna' The Same Way Again Once You See This Pakistani Ad

Pure unadulterated art.
Waseem Hassan Sheikh/ Facebook

For the uninitiated, Waseem Hassan Sheikh is a Pakistani writer-producer-director who is famous for ads that go viral, every goddamn time.

His ads are quite a rage on the Internet for many elements involved in them. Amateurish camera work, awful lip syncs, and unusual twists at the end, to name a few.

Like this one.

Not only does he produce and direct them, he also features himself in them, making him a popular face on the Pakistani television.

Let's play a quick game here. You have to guess what the ad is about in under 10 seconds as soon as you see the GIF. Okay? Okay.

1. Guess the ad.

Burgers. BURGERS.

2. Looks like an ad about suitings, right?

Nope, you're wrong.

Tum bhi na yaar.

Here's the ad.

3. No quiz here. Just enjoy whatever this is.

Now that you have been initiated into the viral world of Sheikh, recently, the star blessed his audience with a new ad set to 'Mehndi Laga Ke Rakhna' song from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. Sheikh matched SRK's energy, brought back the nostalgia and connected with us at an emotional level.

At first glance, the ad looks like an endorsement of a wedding clothing range.

Or dance classes?

Nope. This ad is about a dining place -- Kozi Haleem. And they are just happy about thegolgappe, naanand biryani.

Well, at least they got their priorities sorted.

Sheikh also shared behind-the-scenes footage for the hard work that went into making this creative piece of art.

Watch the entire advertisement here where he beats the baadshah of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan at romance.
