Today is another day in the tech world and Xiaomi releases another gadget. The company's sub-brand Huami launched a fitness-centric smartwatch called AmazeFit. As first reported by PhoneRadar, The watch has a round display with ceramic bezel.
The company claims that it is the world's first smartwatch with 28 nm GPS inbuilt. Its IP67 certification makes it water resistant as well. Other specifications of the smartwatch are pretty standard. It runs on a 1.2 GHz single-core processor with 512 MB of RAM. It also offers 4 GB of Internal storage.
AmazeFit packs a battery of 200mAh but the makers of the watch claim that it will last for 5 days if used normally. Xiaomi says that, if you use it just for step tracking, it will last more almost 11 days. If GPS is turned on the watch will supposedly last for 35 hours.
The bands are exchangeable on the watch and the consumers can attach any standard 22 mm band to the watch. The look and feel of the watch is sporty yet elegant. The unisexual look might strike a chord with a lot of customers.
The watch is compatible with AliPay as well. So the customers can pay for their orders from Alibaba. This is a huge step as reported Xiaomi's own payment system launch is round the corner.
The cost of the watch is 799 Yuan (Rs.8100 approx) and will available for the Chinese customers for purchase from tomorrow.
