His plan was to figure out whether Hindus and Muslims like or loathe each other. To this end, RJ Naved, who hosts the popular show Murga on Radio Mirchi, went to a Muslim area and said nasty things about Hindus, and then he went to a Hindu area and said awful things about Muslims.
While pretending to talk over the phone in the Muslim-majority area of Nizamuddin in Delhi, Naved said that Muslims must unite against Hindus. "Do you think of Hindus as your own," he asked one Muslim man. Somewhere near a temple, with the Om Jai Jagadish Hare playing in the background, he said that Hindus should get together and "fix" Muslims. "This country is ours and it will stay ours," he said.
