Asus Launches Zenfone 3 In India: Specifications, Price And Features

After many variants of their successful Zenfone 2 the third edition finally arrives in India.

Asus India launched their latest flagship device Asus Zenfone 3 today in India. The company announced Zenfone 3, Zenfone Deluxe, Zenfone Ultra and Zenfone Laser with the price ranging from ₹18999 to ₹62999.

Zenfone 3 has a 5.2-inch display with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. It sports a 2650 mAh battery. The higher-end version has a 5.5-inch full HD LCD screen, featuring Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and a 4 GB RAM. It has a 3000 mAh battery with USB C charging.

The phone packs a 16 MP rear camera with OIS and laser auto-focus and an 8 MP front camera. The first variant will cost the users ₹21999. The price of the second variant is not announced yet.

Zenfone Deluxe is the most powerful model of them all. It is has a 5.7-inch full HD display with Snapdragon 820 running inside. It has a 4 GB of RAM and a huge 128 GB of internal memory supporting it. On the rear it a 23 MP camera with latest Sony sensor.

On the front, it has a selfie camera of 8 MP. The price of the phone is ₹49999. Which is pretty high considering one of the most popular flagship phones in the world Samsung Galaxy S7 falls in that price-range. It has a battery capacity of 3000 mAh with USB C type port and USB 3.0 support.

Asus is also launching a higher end version of this with Qualcomm Snapdragon 821, 6 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. This will make Zenfone 3 Deluxe the first phone to ship with Snapdragon 821 processor.

Zenfone 3 Ultra is the massive phablet launched by Asus. It has a humongous 6.8-inch full HD display and it will be running on Snapdragon 652. It has 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The camera specs are similar to the Zenfone Deluxe. The phone has a huge battery capacity of 4600 mAh. It is priced a steep ₹49999.

Zenfone 3 Laser is the lowest-end model of the series. It has 5.5-inch HD display with Snapdragon 430. It has 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of internal storage and 3000 mAh battery. The phone is priced at ₹18999.

Zenfone 3 will be available from today in all the leading e-commerce websites such as Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal, PayTM,Tata Cliq, and more. It will be available through the offline channels as well.

On the other hand, Zenfone 3 Deluxe, Zenfone 3 Ultra, And Zenfone 3 Laser will be available in from September.

The company also launched Asus Zenbook 3 and Transformer 3 Pro laptops. Both are priced at ₹1,47,990 and ₹1,44,990 respectively.
