Tiger Shroff Has A Bizarre Explanation For His Name And Twitter Cannot Get Enough

It is International Tiger's Day today so in case it didn't hit you, the most obvious thing to do is to interview Tiger Shroff.

Or that's what Mumbai Mirror thought.

Explaining how he got the name and whether it became a reason for much embarrassment, Tiger told the tabloid, "I got the name Tiger because I used to bite and scratch people as a child."

He added that he was rather proud that there was no other Tiger in the place he studied (obviously). "There was no other Tiger in school so everyone thought my name was cool. I hope that I can take my career to the heights that other successful Tigers like golfer Tigers Woods and cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi did."

Predictably, Twitter couldn't handle it.

The Heropanti actor had adopted a Tigress (No, seriously) sometime in 2014 and continues to pay for her meals although they don't get much time to 'spend together.'

A tiger without his tigress? That must be tough. Tiger even called Lee, the tigress his 'first girlfriend.'

Yep. No points for guessing that she had him by the tail.

"I have been speaking to colleagues about Lee, the tigress I adopted, and urging them to join the cause," Tiger told Mirror.

Happy International Tiger Day, guys.
