A Bengaluru-based man was recently arrested for the second time by the city police for harassing his former boss by calling her over 2,000 times a day, sending her several thousand texts and standing in front of her house, getting drenched in the rain.

According to a report in The Times of India, Arun Shashidhar a former sales executive at a hotel in Hebbal, Bengaluru, was fired from his job when he tried to 'woo' his boss, and did not pay heed when she told him that she wasn't interested in him.

Reportedly, Shashidhar started calling her over 2,000 times a day, texting her on different social media platforms and even sending photos of messages written in blood.

"He went to my Facebook profile and started sending me messages on it. Initially, I hadn't seen the messages as they were marked 'spam'. These were all shocking: written in blood, or porn videos and nude photos. When I blocked him, he started sending me messages from another account. He would even download my photos and write messages on them."

She became fearful when Shashidhar turned up at her house asking her to marry him. She filed a police complaint against him in June and he was arrested and sent to judicial custody for 14 days. However, the day he walked out of the jail on bail, he went straight to her house, and spent the whole night outside getting soaked in the rain.

"He would bring cosmetics such as nail polish and lipsticks and leave them outside my house," Shashidhar's former boss told TOI.

Reportedly, Shashidhar claimed that he was suffering from mental illness and had a bipolar disorder.

After his second arrest, according to Bengaluru police, Shashidhar's parents are getting him treated him for mental illness.
