MUMBAI -- Actor Hrithik Roshan who was recently embroiled in an ugly spat with his former (2013) co-star Kangana Ranaut, yesterday said the truth will come out.

"Be patient. Patience is the mother of all virtues," the star said at the promotions of his upcoming film Mohenjo Daro in Mumbai.

When asked if the controversy has affected his stardom, he said, "I am not here to answer this as it is unethical and unprofessional to say anything on this platform. Be more patient."

Many from Bollywood including Vidya Balan have come out in support of the Queen (2014) actress.

Asked if he was disappointed that not many people from the film world expressed support for him, Hrithik said, "When truth is on your side you don't need support."

The two stars have been at loggerheads since Kangana hinted at Hrithik being her "silly ex" in an interview earlier this year.

Their feud turned nasty after they slapped legal notices on each other in February.

Hrithik asked Kangana to tender a public apology and refuted her claim of the two having had a relationship.

Kangana refused to apologise and instead shot off a counter-notice to Hrithik.
