OnePlus had their first sale of Loop VR on Amazon today at 12 pm. All the VR headsets were sold under one minute. The Loop VR given by OnePlus was priced at a nominal 1 Rupee plus shipping charges. The next sale will take place on 7 June. Here is how you can get a free Loop VR headset.

1. Register here or on The OnePlus Loop VR page on the Amazon App.

2. Login to the app at 12 PM on 7 June. Keep your address and payment details pre-filled in the Amazon App.

3. At 12 PM add the VR to the cart. Once you get the notification that VR is available, complete the purchase within 15 minutes.

The company also released a teaser today

OnePlus announced some days ago that they are doing away with the invite system for good and Oneplus 3 will be available from the launch day without any invites. Co-founder Carl Pei also said that from now all OnePlus products will be invite free. OnePlus 3 is launching on 14 June.

This was a significant announcement for OnePlus whose marketing style has been questioned in the past this. OnePlus has also announced a program called OnePlus Lab where users can test the phone ahead of the launch.

A post in China's regulatory agency TENAA also leaked many of the specifications of the new smartphone. OnePlus 3 will feature a metal body and a design reminiscent of HTC phones. It will have a 5.5-inch full HD screen, and will run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor.
