Lenovo Launches Zuk Z2 With High-End Specs

Weeks after launching Zuk Z1 in India, Lenovo's sub-brand Zuk has launched their new phone Zuk Z2 in China. The phone is a stripped down version of Zuk Z2 Pro which was launched last month.

It sports a sleek body but there is nothing in it that stands out. The looks remind you of Samsung's celebrated phone from the past, the Galaxy S2.

Zuk Z2 has a smaller 5-inch full HD screen compared to Z2's 5.2-inch full HD screen. Which is not much of a difference and some users even prefer a 5-inch screen. While the processor and RAM are similar to one of the Zuk Z2 variants, this is a big upgrade from Zuk Z1 which was using an old Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor.

The phone's software has also been modified, now featuring the stock Android on Marshmallow 6.0 compared to the Cyanogen OS in Zuk Z1. The home button also acts as a fingerprint sensor.

The Zuk brand has earned a reputation for giving a solid and satisfactory performance. Zuk Z2 is priced at $275 in China. As of now, there are no details available on its being launched in India.
