Emraan Hashmi, the longest title holder of the serial-kisser tag, has a special way of making it up to his wife Parveen, every time he kisses a co-star on-screen.

At the launch of his book, The Kiss Of Life which took place yesterday in Mumbai, Hashmi was asked how his wife feels about his multiple kisses on-screen. Hashmi said, “She still sulks. She doesn’t hit me as hard now -- earlier it used to be with a bag -- now it’s just with the hand. So she has kind of come down over the years,” the Indian Express quoted him as saying.

Hashmi said that it's not expensive jewelry but bags that bail him out of the, um, sticky spot.

“I always buy her bags, for every kiss, for every film. She has got a cupboard full of bags, there’s one cupboard dedicated to bags,” he said."

But if the number of kisses corresponds to the number of bags gifted, Parveen could probably fill their entire house with them.

Addressing this very pertinent query, Hashmi explained, "Kisses could be multiple times in a film but the bag comes only once. We’ve had a barter deal. Else, it's obvious that I’ll be broke," he said.

While his last release didn't fare too well at the box office, Hashmi is currently shooting for Vikram Bhatt's Raaz Reboot, the fourth film in the Raaz franchise. It is set to release later this year.
