Days after Rishi Kapoor questioned the naming of roads, projects and other assets in India after the Gandhi family, some Congress supporters decided to respond.
Dozens of angry Congress workers gathered in Shivaji Park area of Allahabad on Monday and hung a board bearing Rishi Kapoor’s name outside a Sulabh Shauchalya.
However, the name is not official.
The protesters also justified the naming of assets after the Gandhi family. They claimed that that Gandhi family played a huge role in the country's freedom.
Last week, Rishi Kapoor, took to twitter to question why everything in the country is named after the Gandhis. "Baap ka maal samjh rakha tha?" tweeted the 63-year-old actor.
Change Gandhi family assets named by Congress.Bandra/Worli Sea Link to Lata Mangeshkar or JRD Tata link road. Baap ka maal samjh rakha tha ?

Lashing out at Gandhi family members especially, Kapoor said Gandhi family assets named by Congress should be changed.
He wanted Film City in Mumbai, situated near Sanjay Gandhi National Park, to be named after Dilip Kumar, Dev Anand, Amitabh Bachchan or Ashok Kumar.
If roads in Delhi can be changed why not Congress assets/property ke naam? Was in Chandigarh wahan bhi Rajeev Gandhi assets? Socho? Why?
