WATCH: Comedian Sapan Verma Explains Why He Hates Kapil Sharma
EIC

Kapil Sharma has become a household name in India with his wildly successful show Comedy Nights with Kapil Sharma. He gained so much popularity that he went on to do a movie -- Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon -- directed by Abbas-Mustan.

The show started off well with fresh jokes, had witty interactions with the audience, and Sharma interviewed some of the biggest names in show business.

When the laughs were genuine.

But soon, his show turned repetitive and sexist -- he insulted his wife's looks and had male actors dress up as women for cheap laughs. While Comedy Nights with Kapil has gone off-air, the man behind the show is back with a new gig on a different channel.

Sapan Verma of the comedy group -- East India Comedy talks about why he hates Sharma's show during a stand up show. Despite his high moral ground, Verma, is himself dangerously close to crossing the line with sexist jokes on cross-dressers and women who "f*** men who have a flat in Bombay". But Verma's rant is still on point.

Why he hates the show.

Siddhu's always laughahaing.

Our sympathies.

Tragic.

Verma tells us all Indian men are sleazy. Here's why.
