‘Pitch Perfect’ star Anna Kendrick's tryst with a cup in ‘You're Gonna Miss Me When I'm Gone’ appears to have started something of a musical trend in India.

Earlier this month, Kolkata-based Antara Nandy and her sister Ankita released their cup-inspired version of popular track ‘Humma Humma’. The 16-year-old who has also made news for 'Agar Tum Saath Ho' a multi-artist collaboration and other singles like 'Dheere Dheere', claimed she bullied her sister into taking up this unique style, and wants to continue dabbling.

This, however is not their first attempt to showcase their cup rhythm talent. Earlier they took on the classical hit ‘Duma Dum Mast Kalandar’.

However, the first ‘cups performance’ was posted online by Mithila Palkar: the Mumbai-based 23-year-old who was also seen playing Imran Khan’s younger sister in ‘Katti-Batti’ performed a Marathi hit ‘Hi Chal Turu Turu’ that immediately went viral in a single day. (check it out below).
