Samsung has teased a new phone on their website, most likely to be the Galaxy J3 from the company's low-mid range Galaxy J series, to be launched on Thursday. It seems to have a special bike mode for a distraction-free ride.

Reportedly the bike mode will set the phone in a 'do not disturb' mode so the rider wouldn't receive any notifications. If someone calls the rider, an SMS will be sent to the caller that the person is currently driving. More details of the bike mode will be revealed on Thursday. Samsung has already released a teaser under #tapclickvroom campaign with actor Shahid Kapoor.

Samsung launched Galaxy J3 earlier this year in the US at $179, so we can expect the price of the phone to be around Rs.11,000. Galaxy J3 has a 5-inch super AMOLED display with a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor. It has a 1.5 GB of RAM and 8 MP rear camera (5MP in the US version). The phone has 16 GB of internal storage which is expandable upto 128 GB through microSD card. The event will have a live webcast at 12 PM IST on the website. Three lucky winners would also get a chance to win a phone as well while watching the webcast.

Earlier this month Samsung launched their flagship phones Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge in India at a price of 48,900 and 56,900 respectively. The company is also giving a virtual reality headset to the early buyers of these phones. The Korean smartphone makers also released three new versions of their latest smartwatch offering Gear S2 in India.
