Amitabh Bachchan To Star In Shoojit Sircar's Next Film 'Pink'

NEW DELHI -- Filmmaker Shoojit Sircar's next production venture starring Amitabh Bachchan finally has a title and its Pink.

The 73-year-old Wazir actor revealed the titled of the project on his official blog.

"It is 'PINK' the title of the film on shoot in Delhi," he wrote.

There were speculations that the film is titled "Eve".

However Bachchan had quashed the reports couple of days back.

"There is many a speculation that the name of the film on shoot in Delhi under Shoojit Sircar is named 'Eve'...wrong! There is no title yet, but we shall have one soon. Till then, it's just a film under Shoojit's banner," he had written on the blog.

The movie also stars Baby (2015) actress Taapsee Pannu, who is working with the Wazir star for the first time.

The 28-year-old actress shared a series of on-location pictures, with one of them revealing the title and the release date.

"#pink #16thsept2016," she wrote in the caption.

Bengali filmmaker Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury is directing the project.
