An IIT graduate with a 6 point GPA, who wanted to land a job with Flipkart, spent 70 hours working on a CV that resembled a product page from the e-commerce site. Basically, Aakash Neeraj Mittal put himself up for 'sale' on Flipkart.
"When you are a 6-pointer and competing with best of the best minds of the country, you know how hard it is to land a job. You start doing some crazy and random stuff to stand out from the crowd. This is my resume for Flipkart's APM Profile," Mittal posted on his Facebook page.
Author of the self-published book titled It Wasn't Her Fault, Mittal sent social media in a tizzy when one of his juniors also posted photographs of his resumé on Quora.
But unfortunately, all the work he put into his unique résumé failed to get him a job with the portal.
"I didn't get an interview call though, but I hope it will bring a smile on someone's face," he said.
Well, it certainly has.
