A video released by a news channel on Thursday suggested that sedition-accused JNU students’ union president Kanhaiya Kumar did not raise any anti-national slogans in his speech made on the university campus on February 11 for which he was arrested.
As per the video, Kumar is seen raising slogans demanding freedom from poverty, capitalism and communalism, but no slogans were raised demanding “freedom for Kashmir,” as was shown in the videos aired by some other channels.

People also blamed the central government for not taking action against the BJP MLA who was caught on camera beating up a CPI member outside the Patiala House Court where Kanhaiya Kumar was produced.
