How many times have you forgot to invite your close friend to a party, only to find his comment on a photo you posted on Facebook reminding you that you are an idiot? It has happened to the best of us and it happened to cricketer Irfan Pathan.

Pathan married Safa Baig, a 21-year-old model from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in a low key ceremony last Thursday.

Pathan, 31, who last played for India in 2012, hosted the wedding ceremony in Mecca. "Entering probably the most beautiful phase of my life. We both wish to thank everyone for your wishes and #blessings," he tweeted.

But it seems like he forgot to invite fellow cricketer Mohammad Kaif to the wedding.

Or, so Kaif claimed.

.@IrfanPathan married? Kya bhai , now we will get this news via social media :) wish you both a great married life and lets meet :)

But, Pathan had the perfect comeback to it.

@KaifSays Bhai mere phone uthaoge to pata chalega Na

And now they have already made plans to meet with families.

@IrfanPathan jaldi milte hai bhai with families

This seems to be the wedding season for cricketers. In November, 2015, Harbhajan Singh married actor Geeta Basra while another Indian player Rohit Sharma married Ritika Sajdeh in December.

Yuvraj Singh is set to marry British actor Hazel Keech and Ravinder Jadeja recently got engaged to mechanical engineer Rivaba Solanki.
