Honor, a brand owned by Chinese handset major Huawei, has launched two phones in India. Honor 5X was launched at Rs12,999 and Honor Holly 2 is priced at Rs8,499.

Honor 5X, which was launched in China two months ago, runs on Snapdragon 615 SoC made for midrange phones with Adreno 405 GPU. It has 3 GB or RAM and a 5.5" of full HD LCD display. It runs on Android 5.1.1 with EMUI customizations.

The smartphone has 3000 mAh battery with Quickcharge 3.0. On the rear panel, it has a 'Fingerprint 2.0' tech which can unlock the phone in 0.5 seconds. Above the fingerprint panel, there is a 13 MP camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. On the front, the smartphone has a 5 MP f/2.2 camera. The phone has 16 GB internal memory with a mircoSD card expansion option.

Honor Holly 2 is a low-end offering by the company to compete with phones like the Moto E and Mi Note series. It is a dual SIM smartphone with a 5-inch 720p display. It has 13 MP camera with LED flash on the read and 5 MP camera on the front. The 4G LTE enabled phone has 4000 mAh of battery packed in it.

Both the phones will be available in India via Amazon and Flipkart. Honor 5X is available for the purchase from 28 January and Honor Holly 2 will be available from February 1.
