Shah Rukh Khan spoke about it in November. Aamir Khan followed suit a few weeks later. Both faced flak for their remarks.

This doesn't seem to have deterred actor Akshay Kumar from speaking about the issue of whether 'intolerance' exists in India. However, he seems to be on the other side of the debate.

In an interview to Mumbai Mirror, the Airlift actor was quoted as saying:

"India has always been known for its tolerance. We've always tried to keep peace but when attacks like the one at Pathankot happen, you realise that the time has come to retaliate. Going by what you read in the social media, our youngsters are angry, they have taken this personally, and want India to attack too."

A week ago, Kumar had expressed a similar opinion about the attacks to ABP Live, saying, "I don’t have a final solution to the problem. But the way they entered our country and murdered our soldiers, I will say ‘inhe ghuske maro' (let's get into their country and kill them)."
