Three Arrested With Pakistan Sim Cards And Weapons In Mohali

MOHALI -- Three people have been arrested with ammunition and a SIM card belonging to Pakistan in Mohali.

The Punjab police have recovered two AK47, five pistols and Pakistani mobile SIM cards from the arrested.

"They are notorious gangsters, criminals and smugglers. That their modus operandi. They already have pending charges against them and have time and again slipped through our hands. Upon further investigation we discovered that they smuggled heroin on the international border," Senior Superintendent of Police GPS Bhullar said in a press conference.

Post interrogation it was discovered that the arms recovered from the arrested men are made in Pakistan and China.

"They also have plenty of attempt-to-murder cases against them. They have also opened fire on the police earlier. Now we are trying to catch the rest of their accomplices and this arrest will be very helpful in that," Bhullar said.

However, the arrested gangsters have no extremist connection and were strongly involved with Pakistan smugglers who often kidnapped for ransom.
