PULWAMA, Jammu and Kashmir -- Two Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists were killed by the security forces in a fierce gun battle at Gussu village in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.

The encounter that erupted yesterday resulted in elimination of two LeT terrorists in a joint operation by the Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police.

One terrorist was identified as Manzoor Bhat while the identity of the second terrorist, who was of foreign origin, is yet to be ascertained.

Two AK47 rifles, four magazines of AK 47 and other war-like stores were recovered from the site of the encounter.
