Prime Minister Narendra Modi's surprise visit to greet his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif on his birthday has received largely positive reactions from the world press, which saw it as a thaw in the Indo-Pak ties. But one agitated Pakistani reporter in Lahore had a bone to pick with the large Indian contingent.
In a video that has now gone viral, a journalist identified as Qaiser Khokhar from the Pakistani news channel City 42 is outraged that Modi's entourage had landed in Pakistan without visa.
Touching his ears and repeating the phrase 'tauba tauba' (which can be roughly translated to 'God forbid!'), Khokhar slams Modi for bringing such a large entourage. Most of the PM’s entourage stayed within the airport premises but Khokhar seemed oblivious to that. The over-reacting reporter said this was an outrageous act in an 'independent country with its own constitution'.
One of the funny things about the reporter and the video is perhaps the fact that every time Khokhar says 'tauba tauba' his colleagues seen sitting around him in the news room, burst out laughing.

According to a report in The Indian Express, Modi's entourage of 120 people, did not enter the country -- they stayed within the airport premises. Only national security advisor Ajit Doval, foreign secretary, S Jaishanker and Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Vikas Swarup accompanied Modi to Sharif’s residence for high tea.
Modi made a surprise stopover in Pakistan on Friday to meet Sharif -- the first time an Indian premier has visited the rival nation in over a decade. Reportedly, the visit was requested by Modi just hours earlier, before he flew back home from Afghanistan.
