On Christmas, Prime Minister Narendra Modi surprised the world with a slight detour on the way back from Afghanistan. The Indian Prime Minister stopped in Lahore to greet Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif on his birthday.
The two hugged warmly, and even walked hand-in-hand, before leaving for Raiwind Palace, Sharif's ancestral house, where preparations were underway for his grand-daughter's wedding on Saturday.
