Malayalam Director Sajan Kurian Dies During Ladakh Shoot

A Malayalam Filmmaker Died Of Extreme Cold While Shooting In Ladakh

Filmmaker Sajan Kurian, director of the upcoming film Bibleo, has reportedly died in Ladakh at the age of 33.

According to The Times Of India, Kurian, also known as Sajan Samaya, was there for the shoot of his film. Temperatures in the high-altitude region were at -24 degree Celsius and the director, staying in a hotel, complained of uneasiness. He died while being rushed to the hospital.

A native of Thrissur, Sajan was a writer and film director. Bibleo, a psychological fantasy thriller based on his own novel, was to be his first feature film, starring Shine Tom Chacko and Joy Mathew in the leads, reported International Business Times.

The film's shoot had nearly wrapped up. Earlier, Sajan had directed two films — named The Last Vision and Dancing Death — which had gone unreleased.
