100 and Running: The Incredible Fauja Singh

100 and Running: The Incredible Fauja Singh
Nestle India

At the ripe old age of 89, Fauja Singh, with his distinctive turban and flowing grey beard, dons a pair of trainers, and runs his first marathon to become an overnight international sensation. That was in 2000. Today, 15 years later, the world's oldest runner continues to inspire us.

Fauja's incredible and awe-inspiring journey began in Essex, London when he battled all odds to run a marathon in 2000 – the first of several record-breaking marathons to come. The zesty 104-year-old role model continues to revel in the joy of running, the spiritual peace it brings and the funds he can raise for charity.

As part of their centenary celebrations in India, Nestle has rolled out the #100andRunning campaign to salute and honour the zeal and never-say-die spirit of Fauja Singh. Watch this video of this legend - 'gives you all the feels!'
