7 People Killed After Vaishno Devi-Bound Helicopter Crashes In Katra

JAMMU -- In a tragic incident, seven people have been killed as a chopper carrying Vaishno Devi-bound pilgrims crashed here on Monday in Katra.

Seven pilgrims including the pilot of the chopper were killed in the crash.

The helicopter which belonged to the Himalayan Heli service company, reportedly caught fire after it crashed.

Vaishno Devi is one of the major pilgrim centres of India, where thousands of devotees come to offer prayers.
