Shooting Begins For Shahid-Kangana Starrer 'Rangoon'

MUMBAI -- Filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj has begun shooting his period drama Rangoon, which stars Shahid Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and Kangana Ranaut.

The drama, set in the 1940s during the World War II, will see Ranaut playing an actress, who is romantically involved with her mentor. The third lead character is that of a soldier.

The movie is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. His wife Warda S Nadiadwala today tweeted about the beginning of the shoot.

This is Shahid's third film with Bhardwaj, while it is Saif's second outing with the director after Omkara (2006).
