People Are Tweeting Hilarious Jokes After Censor Board Cuts James Bond Kissing Scenes

The latest James Bond flick is finally here! Or at least most of it is -- Daniel Craig's Spectre has received four cuts, two visual, and two verbal, after passing through the Censor Board Of Film Certification (CBFC) filters.

Those visual cuts, by the way, are -- wait for it -- kissing scenes. According to the Indian Censor Board, the passion of Craig's kisses in the latest 'Bond' film had to be diluted by cutting the amount of time the kiss actually lasted for (FYI, the same consensus was rolled out for too much lip action in the Ranbir Kapoor -Deepika Padukone starrer,Tamasha as well).

While one wonders what standards the CBFC uses to determine what is passable onscreen passion and what is not, the board is (naturally) facing more than a fair share of trolling on Twitter. Here are some hilarious tweets that have been doing the rounds all day, especially under the hashtag SanskariJamesBond:

Bond franchise to create an exclusive Bond movie suitable for passing by Indian Censor Board. Alok Nath to play the role of James Bond.
