Fan Teaser: The Face Of The Protagonist Is Finally Revealed And It Will Startle You

Good God, Is That Shah Rukh Khan In The New 'Fan' Teaser?

The new teaser for Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film Fan isn't what we expected.

Sure we saw the big posters, collages and a young boy obsessed with one superstar -- Aryan Khanna (Shah Rukh Khan) -- all his life, but we didn't expect this. Incidentally, Aryan is also his son's name.

The new trailer for Maneesh Sharma's upcoming film Fan features Khan in two avatars -- the superstar as well as the young boy obsessed with him.

2day as I turn 50 I turn 25 again -for all the yrs of lov u hav given me, I giv u my most heartfelt creation.Gaurav the FAN.U & I r a Belief

— Shah Rukh Khan (@iamsrk) November 1, 2015

While the former is easy for him to play -- clips from Khan's old films, award ceremonies and interviews make an appearance -- the latter seems a little tricky.

Following his trademark wide-armed posture and grin, Khan as the young fan Gaurav looks a strange version of his younger self -- thanks to special effects, tonnes of makeup and (what we suspect) a new set of teeth.

The teaser, which was released on Khan's 50th birthday, has created quite a buzz on social media.

The first teaser of the film was released on July 9 and had gathered more than two million views in just 48 hours.

Currently, Khan is busy finishing the shoot of Rohit Shetty's Dilwale, which will hit theatres on December 18. It will be followed by the release of Aditya Chopra's home production Fan and Rahul Dholakia's Raaes.

Interestingly, this year, the famous Khan trio of Bollywood -- Aamir, Shah Rukh and Salman -- all turn 50.
