As was to be expected, acting superstar Shah Rukh Khan's birthday is breaking social media today. However the craziness started even before Shah Rukh actually hit 50 after the actor's fans had already gathered in front of his home to wish the acting legend a happy birthday. An ostensibly touched-and-humbled SRK posted this video of himself greeting his fans, and thanked them for their love and support. Here's a look at the massive (and very excited) crowd that collected to wish the actor a happy birthday.

Thank you all...

Ever since, birthday wishes and tributes have continued to pour in for the star in many creative forms. What's touching is that SRK has thanked each and every one of these people for their efforts.

And SRK dolls (let's face it, these were only a matter of time before these happened):

Poems were also written in the star's honour.
